Valentine Sports & Instruction was founded in 2016 to support the sports community with comprehensive instruction and coaching services. Over the years, we have evolved into a multi-faceted organization dedicated to excellence in sports education and management.
2016 - Our Beginning
VSI was established to support the founder's sports endeavors in sports instruction and coaching. We began with a clear mission: to provide high-quality training and development opportunities for athletes and officials.
Expansion & Diversification
We diversified our instruction by focusing on three core areas: Football Position Training, Officiating Training, and Youth Enrichment programs. This strategic expansion allowed us to serve a broader community and meet diverse athletic needs.
2018 - Sports Assigning
We added Sports Assigning to our portfolio, quickly becoming a trusted partner for leagues and tournaments. In the same year, we became the Ohio USSSA Baseball official assignor, managing tournaments with as many as 315 teams throughout the state.
2019 - Youth Enrichment Program
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched our Youth Enrichment program to provide school-age children with opportunities to explore different environments. Our programs center around Agriculture, Sports, Natural Resources, Youth Development, and Faith-Based learning, with accommodations for students with disabilities based on their individual needs.
2022 - Professional League Management
We started our professional league assigning by adding the A7 Football League—a professional 7-on-7 league with reach from Boston to LA and from Orlando to Columbus. We manage day-to-day operations including social media, marketing, sales, concessions, training, uniforms, website development, and support.
Today - Continued Growth
We continue to support local assignments in multiple sports and grow both locally and nationally throughout North America. We are actively expanding our league management services to different sports leagues, bringing over 25 years of combined experience in sports administration, coaching, officiating, and education.
